Lollu Sabha is the spoof of Maniratnam’s blockbuster film ‘Roja’ renamed as ‘Saroja Saamanikalo’. Roja is a film epicting the present day scenario of Kashmir projecting the terrorism in its true sense. But our Lollu brothers depict the same film projecting only humor in its true sense.
Swaminathan plays the role of Arvind Swamy, a software engineer who travels to Kashmir to complete a major errand but unfortunately gets trapped by the terrorists. Shobana plays the role of Madhumitha, wife of Swaminathan.
The scene where Swaminathan takes his wife to a barren land calling it Kashmir brings immediate laughter for all viewers. Also the scenes where the terrorists capture Swaminathan and the tortures undergone by him is a definite treat for the Lollu Sabha viewers.
