Plot:

The story is about two Davids. David (Vikram) is a 30 year old fisherman living in Goa. David who is a carefree drunkard getting involved in pub fights and other unwanted activities falls for his friends deaf and mute fiance Roma (Isha Sharvani). Meanwhile, the other David (Jiiva), is a 19 year old guitarist living in Mumbai. He hates his dad Father Noel (Nassar) for his philanthropist attitude. Meanwhile, an MLA attacks his dad and beats him up mercilessly with a group of people accusing that Noel is trying to convert everyone into Christianity. Plot:

Plot:

Plot:
The main character Sethu (played by Vikram) is a rough and macho college president, who uses violence as the only way to deal with people. He lives with his brother, a Judge (played by Sivakumar), and his sister-in-law, who is the only person who seems to understand him properly.

Sethu has a staple diet of yes-sir friends surrounding him. He comes across a timid girl, Abitha, who is the daughter of a poor temple priest, and starts to woo her. A wonderfully constructed sequence of events leads him to rescue her elder sister after she accidentally enters a brothel.

When the girl falls in love with him, Sethu becomes a victim of brothel-goons and ends up in a mental institution with brain damage. With Sethu with no memory of his past an his unusual behaviour he starts to recollect memories. At one point he is completely back to his normal self and in an attempt to escape, he climbs over the gates. Unfortuntely he fails and ends up with serious injuries.

Whilst sleeping with his injury Abitha makes a surprise visit. However Sethu is asleep and she leaves with this woeful memory of him. As she is about to leave the institution he wakes up and realises that she had come to see him. As he calls out, she leaves unable to hear him.

Persistent to meet her he makes another attempt to leave the insution and this time he is successful. When he arrives at her house he is presented with his love unfortuately dead. He realises that she had killed herself.

Distraught after what he saw, he just walks out and at that point he is met with the mental insitituion wardens who came chasing after him. The ending shows him leaving with them as he has nothing to live for after his true love's death.

At the same time there is a brave and daring CBI officer Kanthaswamy (Vikram), and he has the IQ of a genius, the strength of a bull and speed of cheetah. He is on the mission to uncover black money and illegal wealth of rich and corrupt Indians saved in foreign banks and he believed these are responsible for all the crime in our society.

He conducts a raid in the palatial bungalow of Pallur Paramajyothi Ponnusamy or PPP (Ashish Vidhyarthi) and finds unaccounted cash and documents of various foreign deals over Rs 1000 crore. Shriya plays the role of villain’s daughter and she swears revenge on Kanthaswamy and pretends to fall in love with the hero.

The introduction scene of rooster Kanthaswamy where he comes crashing through the dome of a police station and plays around with the bad comic cop is terrific. The highlight of the film is Kanthaswamy dressed as a woman and teaching Charlie and Mayilsamy a fitting lesson is hilarious. The blindfolded action scenes in Mexico are stunning.

What is the connection between masked crusader Kandasamy and the CBI officer Kanthaswamy? Why is the CBI Joint Director Krishna Rao (Telugu actor Krishna) protecting Mr. Kandasamy? Can the villains- PPP, Rajmohan of RMG group, and Mexican Pitchumani (Alex) expose and bring Kandasamy to trial? Will the DIG succeed in proving that Kandasamy is no God? The underlining message in the film is, “Money (read black) is the root cause of all evil”.

Plot:
The movie takes place in Coimbatore. Vikram, born in the family of goldsmith works in a factory. He leads a carefree life. A verbal dual between a local party worker and Vikram results in a clash between the local MLA (Virumaandi fame Pasupathy) and Vikram. In a tussle, Pasupathy is battered to death by Vikram who surrenders to the local police. Vikram manages to escape from the clutches of police following reports from a doctor that Pasuapthy had a natural death. Thereby Vikram incurs the wrath of Pasupathy’s brother, played by Kollam Thulasi, a noted Teleugu actor, an influential politician.Eventually Vikram takes the responsibility of cleaning up the city and forms his own group who by violence bring things to order in Coimbatore.The big disappointment in the movie has been Harris Jeyaraj’s songs. Harris Jeyaraj, whose tunes caught, the attention of many in movies like Saamy and Kovil, fails to impress. The tunes are ordinary and re-recording, jarring too. The director seems to have banked on Vikram’s image as an action-hero. Vikram, thanks to his styles add pep to the movie. He has tried his best to bring conviction to the role with his screen presence.
